RIYADH: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney departed from Jeddah on Friday, after a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.
On his visit to the Kingdom, the first by a Canadian prime minister in 26 years, Carney said that the two nations were well-placed to deepen mining and energy ties.
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received the prime minister met at Al-Salam Palace where they witnessed the exchange of several memoranda of understanding.
